The MOU is signed at IF new office at Mahadhammaraja Building by Dr. Wanchai Khannam (IF Acting Director) and Prof. Eleftherios Papantonopoulos (Head of the Theoretical High Energy Physics Group NTUA at 11.00, the 16th Feb. 2011. • Press Releases: 16 Feb 2012 | IF has signed MOU with the Theoretical High Energy Physics Group, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in enhancing its research and academic collaborations and staff and students exchange. The MOU is signed at IF new office at Mahadhammaraja Building by Dr. Wanchai Khannam (IF Acting Director) and Prof. Eleftherios Papantonopoulos (Head of the Theoretical High Energy Physics Group NTUA at 11.00, the 16th Feb. 2011. The MOU event is witnessed by all IF staff including Dr. Burin Gumjudpai at University of Durham who participates it online.

• Press Releases: 30 Jan 2012 | Dr. Teeraparb Chantavat (IF) is invited to visit the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris (IAP), France to collaborate on a ERC Dark project joint cluster research from 30-31 Jan 2012. On the same trip, he will give a talk on "Constraining Primordial Non-Gaussianities with Galaxy Clusters" at the XXL Internal Workshop in Versailles, France from 1-3 Feb 2012 (funded by Naresuan University).

• Press Releases: 24 Nov 2011 | Antonio De Felice (IF), Tsutomu Kobayashi and Shinji Tsujikawa, in their recent paper arXiv: 1108.4242 [gr-qc], have studied the equations of scalar density perturbation in the presence of on-relativistic matter for the most general scalar-tensor theory. The hope is have to better understand Dark Energy, and, possibly, to rule out several classes of incorrect models (published in Phys. Lett. B).

• Press Releases: 1 Nov 2011 | Dr. Nattapong Yongram (IF) pays a visit to Department of Physics, California State University, Fresno, California, USA, as a Visiting Researcher (funded by ThEP) from Nov 2011 to April 2012.

• Press Releases: 27 Oct 2011 | Dr. Teeraparb Chantavat (IF) joined the XXL consortium (XXL). The XXL survey is a X-ray survey, with multi-wavelength follow-up observations, which will map two extragalactic region of 25 squared degrees. The survey is expected to observe 600 new clusters of galaxies out to redshift 2 and more than 10,000 active galactic nuclei (AGNs) out to redshift 4. The main goal of the project is to constrain the Dark Energy equation of state using clusters of galaxies. This survey will also have lasting legacy value for cluster scaling laws and studies of AGNs and X-ray background. The consortium includes all scientists belonging to the international astronomical community. Members of the consortium are responsible for the production of a well validated, multi-wavelength, data set of legacy quality, and the initial scientific analysis of these data. On the same trip, he will officially visit Prof. Reza Tavakol at Astronomy Unit, Queen Mary, University of London from 20 March-1 April 2012 (funded by Astronomy Unit, QMUL), Prof. David Wands at Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth from 3-7 April 2012 (funded ICG Portsmouth) and Prof. Mark Hindmarsh at University of Sussex in 5-6 April 2012. The visit is to seek for exchanging faculty members and PhD students under the Royal Golden Jubilee Scholarship.
